One of the classic '80s Cobra figures, Hake's Senior Consignment Manager Mike Bollinger reflected on the lasting impact of Storm Shadow - "While Snake Eyes might be the most popular G.I. Joe character, when it comes to Cobra, one name leads the pack - Storm Shadow. A true study in duality, Storm Shadow was in essence the opposite of Snake Eyes, despite being blood brothers and both being trained in the teachings of the Arashikage ninja clan. White-clad and evil (at least initially), Storm Shadow also debuted during the heyday of '80s ninja movies and interest in all things martial arts, all but guaranteeing his success. One couldn't help but be mesmerized seeing this guy on store shelves. He just has so much going for him. It's only natural he's still in high demand 40+ years later. This brilliant white example is the preeminent example, and collectors would be hard-pressed to find a nicer specimen. It will be exciting to watch bidders battle it out for this piece."
