Item Description
Box contains "Real Flying Glider!" and 3.75" tall Viper Pilot (The Enemy) action figure. ©1983 Hasbro. Box is release w/barcode. Peach file card. One of only two gliders made for the G.I. Joe toyline. AFA subgrades are as follows - B80 W90 F90.

Discussing this allure of this coveted Cobra craft, Hake's Senior Consignment Manager Mike Bollinger had this to say, "There had been many, many parachute and glider toys released in the decades preceeding Hasbro's G.I. Joe gilders, but not one of them could hold a candle to the inherent cool factor of being able attach your favorite G.I. Joe or Cobra figure and let this loose on the wind to glide into enemy territory (aka your friend's side of the backyard battlefield). These classic '80s toys hold a special place in many Joe collectors hearts, and we're proud to offer the best-of-the-best in this extraordinary sealed AFA 85 example."

Very rare and pratically unheard of in this factory-sealed, high grade condition. Sure to become the centerpiece of any G.I. Joe collection. At time of cataloging, only six examples in total have been graded by AFA according to current AFA Population Report, this being the single highest graded example. Russell Branton Collection.
