Item Description
Brass shell is 2.5" wide. 3.75" long overall. The bandana motif is a reference to Thurman who was so well known for sneezing into a red bandana that he had been given the nickname "The Knight Of The Red Bandana." His use of the bandana stemmed from his preference for snuff. The theme of the 'Red Bandana' was used widely during the 1888 campaign. Razor sharp portraits of the 1888 Democratic ticket w/only light wear on brass shell and ribbon. Exc. A stunning addition to any Cleveland display. Bob Atwater Collection.
