AFA graded and encapsulated case contains original white mailer box (w/mailing address label; recipient name/address scratched out), vacuform plastic tray w/sealed baggie set of four 2.25" to 4.25" tall Kenner action figures including R2-D2, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker (Double-Telescoping Saber), baggie w/additional plastic pegs for posing figures, mini-catalog advertising the Star Wars Action Figure line and vehicles and mail-away offer for the Early Bird Premium Collector Stand. Kenner used this mail-away promotional offer in order to get Star Wars action figures to consumers before they hit store shelves as they were not able to get their figures to market in time for the 1977 holiday season. Offered in a special "Star Wars Early Bird Certificate Package," consumers could send away for the kit offered here.
