Item Description
6.5" long. The two men named alongside Bryan are Richard "Silver Dick" Bland and Tom Robinson. Bland, a Congressman, was a strong proponent of bimetallism. Robinson was a pro-silver Republican nominated by the Democratic Party in his district for the Missouri state legislature. While Bryan was defeated in 1896, Bland and Robinson won their respective elections. A few pinholes at top, as well as a faint moisture stain from top edge down to "Bland." Ribbon is crisp and clean otherwise VF. Roger Richert Collection.
