Item Description
On February 12, 1999 the Senate voted to acquit Clinton. On that day, the original owner of this item who worked in Washington, DC went to the office of Virginia Senator John Warner and obtained this pass which bears Warner's ink-stamped signature. He then took the pass to the Capitol post office where a postage stamp was applied and then the pass was postmarked "Wash D.C. Station Feb. 12, 1999 USPS." The pass is a stiff card 2.75x4". On the back of the pass are the rules to be observed by visitors while in the United States Senate Galleries. A fascinating and perhaps unique collectible from the historic day of the Senate's vote on impeachment articles. Mint.
