Set of three cast metal ships, approx. 4.5" to 4.75" long on 4x6.75" blister pack cards. Marketed as "Tootsietoy Space Ship," these are early 1950s Dowst Manufacturing Co. reissues of the 1930s Buck Rogers Tootsietoy ships. These 1950s versions are silver and raised Buck Rogers name on sides of ships have been obscured and covered by US Air Force insignia decals and packaging excludes any mention of Buck Rogers. Though not mentioned by name on packing, ships were originally issued as No. 1031 Battle Cruiser, No. 1032 Destroyer and No. 1033 Attack Ship. Cards have warped due to tightness of blister pack and have some aging/dust soiling and corner tip wear, but ships remain sealed and NM as packaged. Scarce as a carded set.
