This is toy No. 592M as shown in N.N. Hill Brass Company's 1935 catalog featuring their "New Mickey Mouse Line." Toy stands 14.5" tall w/7" dia. wheels and jigsawed wooden silkscreened body w/separate, nodding head controlled by thin metal rod connect to wheels, movement of wheels moving head as toy is pulled along. Small "© WD Ent" text beside Mickey Mouse figure. These toys were produced w/Mickey being pulled by his horse Tanglefoot and such as that offered here, Mickey by himself. Shown on page 224 of Disneyana by Munsey. This is wheel color variety in red/yellow vs. green/yellow. Disc attachments showing three images of running Mickey Mouse are missing but toy displays perfectly fine as is. Original strip and finger loope present and attached. Wooden portion of toy shows lt. even aging and some trace wear; tip of Mickey's nose has small edge sliver off one side. Wheel rims show wear from use. Fine overall. Scarce Disney pull toy.
