Item Description
8.75" long. Unlisted in Hake. "Democratic National Committee" hanger suspending an ornate "Member" hanger dangling a brass shell medallion featuring a 1" photo portrait button. Ornate ribbon reads "Notification Ceremonies For Gov. James M. Cox Nominee For President Dayton, Ohio/Aug. 7, 1920." Ribbon is crisp and bright. Virtually no gold letter application loss on text. Cello and brass components have only minor to light wear. Overall NM. A choice example of this rarity. A prize addition to any Cox display. John Gearhart Collection.
