Item Description
8.5 x 12". Referencing Sacco & Vanzetti as though alive, together w/a mention of the I.W.W.'s Fred Biedenkapp, this broadside appears to date to 1925 rather than 1931 (the next time Tuesday was August 25th). By 1933, the Allentown & surrounding Lehigh Valley factories organized more than 10,000 workers in a much more widely documented strike. But in 1925 only 3,000 workers protested. National Textile Workers' Union (U.T.W.) call w/Trade Union Unity League print line on thin pulp paper. Consistent toning w/minor edge tears. Exc.
