Item Description
Elected Mayor in 1933, his political career began after WWI in 1919 with his election as button text states "President Board Of Alderman F.H. LaGuardia." He served from 1920 through 1923. Reverse union bug stamp elevates the button's center front a tiny bit. White outer edge has 3 under 1/16" shallow indents barely seen even in reflected light. Small mark on far right edge is part of a second union bug on the curl. Cello remains totally clean and still displays Mint. Early and Rare. See next item and aviation LaGuardia-related 649-650.
