Item Description
1-7/16x2-5/8". From same set as previous two lots. Nap Lajoie was a star second baseman in MLB at the turn of the Century, playing for Philadelphia from 1896 through 1902 before moving on to Cleveland, where he would continue to compile astounding numbers at the plate, eventually having the ball club named after him (Cleveland Naps). Lajoie would win the American League’s first ever Triple Crown in 1901, one of his three batting titles Nap would finish w/a career batting average of .338 to go along w/1,599 RBI’s, 1,504 runs scored, 380 stolen bases and a career WAR of 106.9. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937.
