Item Description
Set of three single-sided 2.25x3.25" cardstock ID cards issued to members of the Victory Kid school program in 1943. Offered here are all three varieties known to us, each featuring full body image of Superman w/tiny Superman, Inc. copyright, w/Superman image, "Vitctory Kid Identification Card" text and sponsor in either blue or red (2). Blue card bears Boskman Variety sponsor name and was valid through Dec. 1943. Red cards bear Village Pharmacy and Fountain and Wigmore Dairy as sponsors and both were valid through June 1943. Issued during wartime, text at bottom of each reads "Superman Says 'Knowledge Defends Our Future'." Unused and NM. All are rare. Danny Fuchs Collection.
