Item Description
Pair of 11x17" Marvel Comics art boards contain original art pencils by Kris Renkewitz and inks by Frank Percy. ©1992 Marvel Comics. First image features Iron Man, Storm, Spider-Man,The Human Torch, Cage, Mary Jane Watson, Captain America, Wolverine, Incredible Hulk and She-Hulk all lending a hand moving construction supplies and erecting a new building done in graphite pencils and ink. Next image has "Marvel Aid" logo w/Hulk and She-Hulk and in their street clothes are Steve Rogers, Luke Cage, Mary Jane, Peter Parker, Johnny Storm, Logan, Ororo Munroe and James Rhodes done in blue pencil and ink. Also comes w/20 color and bw slides of final designs and also four photocopies of preliminary designs w/character notes in pen and the final art. Marvel joined in w/other relief events at the time to help the victims of Hurricane Andrew in 1992. This original art was used for the front and back design of a t-shirt as well as a poster and other marketing items. Lt. aging/wear. Some minor handling soiling in margins of art. Exc.
