AFA graded and encapsulated case contains original cardboard display stand, a mail-away item offered in 1978 and only available on Meccano 12 Back carded action figures, which included a numbered proof-of-purchase at the upper left corner. To obtain this display stand (which bears a resemblance to the Early Bird display stand offered by Kenner, just lacking the foot pegs), sender had to send in four proof-of purchases, including No. 1 Luke Skywalker and No. 2 Princess Leia. Display stand features X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter battle scene w/Death Star in bkg. and French "La Guerre Des Etoiles" logo at top. Rare and the first we've offered.
