Great portrait image of Satan mascot w/text that includes “The Drink With A Wink/Keep Healthy-Feel Wealthy/A Jitney A Glass.” Also includes name and address of manufacturer “Garrett’s Corp/Norfolk, VA.”  “Satan-et” was trademarked on April 13, 1914 and sold in the USA until the early 1920s. All material for this drink is highly desirable. Silvering is missing five hairlines and small area from outer edge plus some silver luster off the collet. Collet has some of oxidation. Celluloid has three somewhat deep 1” scratches and a dozen lighter scratches many of which go over the face area but none of which break the celluloid so unless in reflected light they show little if at all. Remains glossy and w/vibrant color. Fine. Rare, one of the few examples we’ve offered in our 58 years. See matching button next lot.
