Item Description
10-5/8x14.5" frame contains 8x9-1/8" trimmed sheet of vellum w/detailed mixed media original art design for Underdog villain Simon Bar Sinister 1970s Collegeville Halloween mask w/attached cut out sheet of paper attached to back, allowing art to display better. Majority of art has been done on back of sheet while black areas of eyes were painted on front. Vellum sheet has some aging/handling wear w/tape staining at edges, but art remains clean and VF overall. Professionally matted and framed under UV glass and ready for display. While Collegeville's Underdog costume proved to be very popular, this companion costume was never produced. Comes w/actual size cast metal mold used in production of Collegeville's Underdog mask. Some scattered aging, but still VF overall. Unique pair. From the Collegeville Archives.
