While Johnny Ramone (1948-2004) had passed years earlier, he began work on this autobiography in 1999 when he was diagnosed w/prostate cancer. His widow Linda Ramone was instrumental in seeing it published. The book tells the story of John Cummings, his road to becoming Johnny Ramone, history w/The Ramones and is illustrated w/photos throughout. Book ends w/Johnny's rating the various Ramones album. Book has been signed on inside front cover by seven friends and associates of Johnny, including Linda Ramone, who adds "Gabba Gabba Hey!" inscription in pink felt tip pen. Rest have signed in black felt tip pen, including - fellow Ramones bandmate Tommy Ramone (1949-2014), Sex Pistols founding member Steve Jones, X guitarist Billy Zoom, Black Flag frontman Henry Rollins, Stray Cats drummer Slim Jim Phantom and Rock 'n' Roll High School star P.J.
