Auction 192 - Part I
Item numbers 1 though 1052 in auction 192
Item Description
1.75" superbly colored button from c. 1905-1907 promoting "Lafayette Stock Farm, Lafayette, Ind." At center, pair of horses w/cropped tails face opposite directions against a beautifully colored green hillside scene. Text at top reads "America's Largest Importers German Coach Percheron & Belgian Stallions." We've seen one with slightly different wording. Extreme edge all around has tiny faint age dots barely showing. About 50% color off the metal back painted black as issued. About 4th seen, possibly first one with this precise text. VF. Rare.
