Auction 192 - Part I
Item numbers 1 though 1052 in auction 192
Item Description
Likely late 1930s, no maker. 1.5" but not a button. Tin-covered back has two raised squares, each with one open edge where a wire was placed as a means to attach cello to some product. Design reproduces horrid creature from Lewis Carroll's Through The Looking Glass. Also see version as #581. These two are only two uses of this design we've seen. Cello has 1/8" far right scratch and about 6 tiny tan dots on or near edge showing little. VF. Only one known.
