21" long hard plastic and tin litho space rifle manufactured by Marx c. 1950s. Comes in 5.25x22x1.5" deep box with nice space illustrations including illustration of gun. Box has some aging and wear to end flap with a .25" tear to left-hand flap. Left-hand side panel is missing both tabs and box has a 1/8" hole punched from inside out. Box is Fine. Tin litho area of gun has some scattered minute paint nicks and shows dials, gauges and rockets. Wind-up firing mechanism works and produces firing sound, but missing flint and thus no spark. Some very minor melt marks to hard plastic tip but o/w Exc. See Rex Mars Space Tank windup #1417.
