One of the great all-time ring designs with no text but attributed to Capt. Marvel. c. 1946. Done in brass w/adjustable bands and each side has brass lightning bolts against black enamel paint bkg. Top of ring has high relief w/slanted sides and a working compass under glass at top center. Various segments feature rocket control panel buttons as well as several different lightning bolt designs. This is superb, essentially Mint as issued. Example held by tiny twisted wire to 2.75x3.5" card. As with many other premiums, manufactures sold surpluses from one customer to another and we suspect that is what occurred here with revised title "Radio Patrol Ring." Center of card has surface paper off but mostly covered by applied Santa paper sticker. That also covers bit of lower text. Card has tiny corner tip wear but overall Fine and first seen. Ring is superb with no paint loss and luster is as perfect as it comes.
