Item Description
1" tall in silvered brass with eagle above a wreath surrounding shield centered by his portrait. While the badge designated "Ensign" is relatively common, this badge which is slightly larger and with the "Lt. Commander" rank on the bottom edge is a rarity as few were awarded. Tiny bit of brass shows through the silver luster on his hat and left wreath leaf tips. Rare and N. Mint.
