Item Description
9.5x10.5x4-1/8" tall corrugated box. c. 1950s. Box has illustration of Hoppy on top with text "Here's Hopalong Cassidy." Three box sides have western theme illustrations. Inside box lid reads "Here's Your Hopalong Cassidy Chuck Wagon Set/Stand Plate Here/The W.S. George Pottery Co. East Palestine, Ohio." Insert in box holds 3-1/8" dia. by 3" tall pottery mug, 5.25" dia. by 2" deep bowl, 9.5" dia. plate. Each has different image of Hoppy. Plate has simulated signature reading "To My Friend - Hoppy." Box shows wear. Box lid has creases but clean, tight and Fine. Cup has one small chip on rim. Light decal wear to bowl and plate. Overall VF. Rare boxed.
