64 amateur/candid photos taken at the 1939 World's Fair measuring between 2.5x2.5" to 5x8". Bw photos include various buildings and features of the Fair including numerous photos of the Trylon & Perisphere, photos of the New Jersey Building, Gardens on Parade, car races, Italian Building, Fountain in Lagoon of Nations, The Russian Building, Pennsylvania Building, "Day" Statue, "Morning" Statue, "George Washington" Statue by James Earle Fraser, "Sundial" Statue, Paul Manship's "Prometheus" Statue, (as seen in New York City's Rockefeller Center), The General Motors Building, Federal Building, Wonder (Bread) Building, Sheffield Farms Building, Canada Building, United States Steel Building, shot of Italian train and Midget Town Post Office, as well as several candid scene shots and various fountain photos. One photo in particular has scene of Trylon & Perisphere with Zeppelin in bkg. Another candid scene shot from Perisphere shows two Greyhound buses. Photos have various degrees of handling wear, most are Fine-VF. Nineteen of similar size have detailed descriptions and dates on back. An interesting collection of photos of the Fair.
