Item Description
Four items, all issued during WWII. First is "Winter Draws On - Meet The Spandules" 4.5x6" booklet with 20 pages. Issued by the Safety Education Division Flight Control Command/U.S. Army Air Forces. Features "The Spandules, A Close Relative To The Gremlins." Trace of staple rust but o/w a clean and Exc. copy. Second is 5x6.25" cardboard envelope for a ration book. Great illustration on front of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Donald leaving the "Super Duper Market" with food and ration books. Reverse has imprint for Denver, Colorado store along with additional character portraits. Exc. Third is 6.25x9" Christmas card. One-sided on card stock depicting Donald Duck as Santa Claus giving the victory symbol and standing next to a sack of war-related toys such as a rifle, tank, battleship and airplane. Marked "Proceeds To The American Woman's Voluntary Services." Exc. with original mailing envelope. Final item is 5.5x7" program for "The Masquers Servicemen's Morale Corps 32nd Weelkly Function In Honor Of 6th Armored Division Camp Cook, California." Card stock folder with great art on the front of Mickey, Minnie and Donald in military attire along with soldier and sailor. Has additional Disney character specialty art along with list of entertainment for the Nov. 13, 1943 event that included Pinky Lee and Red Skelton. Very faint vertical crease. VF. Nice lot.
