Item Description
First is 4.25" change tray showing what is known as the first merchant submarine. It's name, "Deutschland," along with the date of 1916 is printed beneath its image which in turn is beneath the image of its commander "Capt. Konig." The beer drivers, presumably a large percentage of them of German origin, picked this artwork to put on the "Souvenir" tray issued by their local "132-Philadelphia And Vicinity." N. Mint. Ashtray at 4-3/8" is also from Philadelphia and promotes "Gallagher & Burton/Fine Whiskeys." Unused and Exc. See a few following lots of change trays plus similar for Young's Pier #985.
