Item Description
The sinilar version of this in Auction #195 realized over $1500. The example #195-508 had on the top rim "Dead Shot." On the bottom rim in tiny type was "Mrs. Ad Topperwein" with larger text "Smokeless." This example, also 1.25" with W&H backpaper, has top text "Dead Shot Powder." On lower rim in tiny text is her name "Mrs. Ad Topperwein." Below that in larger text is "Pattern-Penetration-Velocity." Some lettering on upper left rim and over her shoulder at lower right is light due to the tone of the sepia photographic paper. There is a tiny shallow pinpoint nick below her nose but essentially this shows only under magnification. The reverse has a very trivial 3/32" cello split by the collet. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Ammunition Section #374. Comes with Hake's COA. VF and the only example known to us.
