Item Description
1.25" inscribed "Meet Gus!" shows unattributed Dr. Seuss character c. 1940. Complete with "Happy Motoring/Standard Esso Dealer" backpaper. Minor variation in color tone caused by some air under the celluloid. Still totally clean and glossy. Second is "For Happy Motoring Esso/Esso Extra 1940." No backpaper but possibly as issued. Exc. and displays Mint. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Automotive Products Section #286-287. Comes with Hake's COA.
