Item Description
9.5x12.5" w/128 pages. 1936 Olympics were held in Germany. This hardbound book is printed in German w/all German text. Consists of photos printed separately from the text and applied to the book pages. Inside cover is full page photo of Hitler in reviewing stands signing photographs w/caption below. Along w/German athletes, images show specific Olympic events. Noteables photographed include Sonya Henie. 1936 was the year of Jesse Owens' appearance in the Olympics but obviously omitted from this book. Hitler quotes and influence are seen throughout the book. Complete w/all photos attached. Dust jacket shows obvious handling wear, pages are lightly tanned. Fortunately, the color images are not affected as they were printed on high quality paper. A great reference in VF condition.
