Item Description
The badges are each 1.5" tall depicting worker holding aloft a red star against a flag also done in red enamel. The rest of each piece is either in brass or silver luster. The base of each reads identically "USSR/The New York/World's Fair 1939." Each has four union bug marks on the reverse as there must have been four different trades crafts involved in producing the pin. They are of Exc. quality and both are essentially Mint. The item we've not offered ever before is 4x9.25" booklet with front cover art matching the pin and back cover art showing an aerial view of the Fair plus a somewhat stylized version of the pin design, as if viewed from the side and without any flag. Filled with diagrams and 10 pages of information about the Soviet Pavilion. Trivial age on the folder but still Exc.
