Item Description
5x7x8.5" deep cardboard display box contains 8 blister cards measuring 4.75x7", each containing about 3.5" long miniature metal/plastic cap gun. Made in Spain by Redondo for the foreign market. c. 1970s, box and blister cards bear Marvel Comics Group and DC Comics Inc. copyrights. Box shows images of Superman, Batman, Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk. Box shows aging and wear. .5" tears at front edge. Fine+. Each gun has character specific decals and customization including batwing grips and muzzle attachment for Batman, spiderweb grips for Spider-Man and futuristic design for Superman. Hulk has luger "Official Police" style w/character decal. Each comes w/section of 20 caps and fold-out target and/or advertising sheet featuring Superman. Cards are unpunched w/st. warp. All blisters remain attached. Superman blisters have staples as issued. These staples have lt. oxidation but overall cards are Exc. w/Exc.-N. Mint contents, some showing aging from deterioration of cap material. Great display. From the James Gallo Collection.
