Item Description
Lot of two. First is 6x9". 16 pages. Titled "P&G Circus Book." Proctor and Gamble 1934. Cover has entry blank for boys and girls to win various prizes. Ten first place prices were "National Junior Racers With Real Gasoline Motors." Other prizes include Mickey Mouse wristwatch/Mickey Mouse necklace/radios/dolls/sailboats/bicycles/sleds etc. Contest required entry to fill in the blank for various animal trivia. Also required was to paste a P&G label in each of the designated areas. Extensive rules appear on the back cover. Bright, interesting. VF. Second is 5.25x8.25". 8 pages. c. 1930s. Book of premiums available for 15¢ to $1.50 plus a designated number of NEHI caps. Premiums include leg-shaped pocket knife, Boy Scout knife, baseball, glove, football, flashlight, etc. Interesting and VF.
