Item Description
1.5” outstanding rarity unlisted in Hake featuring a real photo without dot pattern of FDR. Upper left has very trivial dent over the “R” of “AMERICA.” Button displays quite cleanly and with no stain although in various light angles hairline cracks in the celluloid can be seen. The most major runs nearly top to bottom vertically along the right side of his face. There are lesser .5” cracks to the left and right and several minor and much smaller. Even with the cracking, the celluloid still remains relatively flat. The cracks are noticeable to the touch but none of the celluloid is actually lifting upwards. Back of the piece has dark oxidation on the metal back and tiny bit of stain on the celluloid adjacent to the collet which has 2 tiny dents. While the condition issues are obviously serious, the piece still displays quite well and its rarity makes it quite special.
