Item Description
4.25x6.5" with nice image of well-dressed Geronimo wearing hat with Indian blanket over his left shoulder. Photo is copyright H.W. Wyman 1904 Colorado Springs Colo. and is mounted on card stamped Murillo with address of 1314 Olive Street St. Louis. Geronimo, the famous former war chief of the Apache was at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair in a teepee in the Ethnology Exhibit which may be where this photo was obtained. Photo has lt. silvering and card has some lt. creasing in 2" area at lower right. Bottom of front has a few moisture marks. VG. Wonderful, sharp and clear image.
