c. 1947. 8-7/8x12" Petty calendar is spiral bound at top holding 12 sheets with different image on front of each. Copyright 1946 Fawcett Publications Inc. Copyright 1945 Country Press, Inc. Light age toning on top sheet, otherwise clean and Exc. Rolled 1955 Elvgren calendar is 16x33" overall customized for "Spartan Saws And Tools" company in Buffalo, NY. Top has art of sexy blonde having proudly just built birdhouse. Bottom has calendar pad which runs from Dec. 1955 to Dec. 1956. Underneath calendar is text description with painting title "Well Built" and brief article on Gillette Elvgren. Top and bottom edges have metal strips as issued. Upper right side edge is a bit worn, otherwise bright and VF. Both have superb images.
