1-5/8" brass with lots of original luster remaining on the front although the back of the piece has a rather pitted surface, primarily obvious only under magnification, and with vast majority of the text still easily readable. The only thing not readable on the back is extremely tiny text on bottom edge with the first words reading "Official Houn' Dawg" plus final word which is perhaps "Emblem." The larger text on the reverse in eight lines reads "Every Time/I Come To Town, The Boys Keep Kickin/My Dawg Aroun', Makes No difference/If He Is A Houn', They Gotta Quite Kickin/My Dawg Aroun'" The front of the fob pictures seated, sad looking skinny dog with long obvious whiskers with his name "Jim" below his head. He is surrounded by text "You Gotta Quite Kickin' My Dawg Aroun'" In addition bottom edge has tiny text "Copyright 1912/I.L. Burgh." We grade the front of the piece Fine while the reverse is Good but very readable. Rare.
