Auction #205 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1426 in auction 205
Item Description
Beautifully formed silvered brass pig is 2-3/8" wide from the tip of his snout to the tip of his curly wire tail which serves as a crank to retract the fabric tape once it has been extended. The tape is missing about .25" from its beginning which has a safety pin in place so that it cannot slip into the pig's interior accessed by a rectangular slot on the belly between the four legs. Inscription appears on one side only. Tiny bit of silvering gone but still in very nice condition with tiny red metallic accent on one eye. First we've seen.
