Item Description
1.25" with W&H paper. Trivial trace of oxidation on reverse collet. Front gives groups name and location and date of event "Atlantic City May 1919" along with serial no. "94." The organizations first event was held in 1917 in NYC and opened by President Wilson via wireless from the White House. This event two years later was again opened by wireless and featured Secretary of War Newton D. Baker. This major event held its open ceremony on the Steel Pier with thousands of representatives from different countries, government, state and civil aeronautic societies along with famous aviators present. NM displaying Mint. Only example we've seen.
