Item Description
1-7/8" with tin rim and fully silvered mirror on underside. Top has glass cover over paper label showing "Manufacturers And Liberal Arts Building." Surrounding text is "C.H.& D. And MONAN - 'World's Fair Route' To Chicago." Text names two separate railroads. The first are initials representing the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton Railroad. Next the word "Monan" represents the line Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville railroad. The word "Monan" comes from Indian words that mean 'Swift Running.' Silver flashing off the tin rim edge but otherwise essentially Mint as made. Rare.
