Item Description
5x7 7/8" photo image of the Three Stooges in their classic line up featuring Larry Fine, Moe and Curly Howard. Photo has an ad on the reverse from 1937 for Pillsbury Farina and is tied to a Columbia Pictures Promotion. Ad front features bw photo of the Three Stooges with text “Your Friends Larry, Moe & Curley Columbia's “3 Stooges," with the early spelling of Curley with an “E.” Photo is inscribed in blue ink "To Richard Bess Sincerely" photo is then signed separately by each Stooge "Jerry Curly Howard; Moe (Bangs Howard and Larry (Fuzzy Fine." The Stooges have signed early nicknames for themselves which is unusual. All signatures are in the same blue ink and are very distinct. Some minor handling wear with some creases in the upper left hand margin which crosses over onto inscription but not main photo image or signatures. Some light aging VF w/Exc. signatures. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Hake’s.
