Item Description
This eight button lot ranges in size from 1.25" to 3.5". First is the 50th birthday button from 1978. There was a train that crossed the U.S.A. from Los Angeles to New York as part of the celebration with these buttons distributed along the way. Second is "Salute To Canada January 7-13, 1974/Walt Disney World." Mickey is pictured as a Mountie. Curl names Toronto maker "HAS Novelties." Third is "Ask Me About The Magic Kingdom." Includes 1981 copyright. Very tiny front bump caused by reverse bar pin. Next is for Los Angeles Police Department "At Disneyland Oct. 10 1982." Next with Mickey as a knight reads "A Day With Mickey's Knights 1983." Next is "1983 Festival Japan." Next is scarce Disney animators 1984 strike button. 2-1/8" with Mickey over printed by brown international symbol for 'Forbidden Use.' Beneath his feet is a tiny barely readable copyright symbol and "Walt Disney Productions." A very scarce in-house button. Last has rim text "Rapid City Chamber Of Commerce/Rapid City/South Dakota." Mickey is shown as drum major with added text "Dakota Days/'1980 Happening' plus a small logo reading "Walt Disney Premieres/The One And Only Genuine Original Family Band." Quite a few surface scratches but light in nature and button still displays Exc. All the other items are NM displaying Mint. Numerous rarities.
