Item Description
1.5" celluloid with metal reverse and small remains of a center rivet that once held it to a fiber-board watch fob. Issued by "The Milwaukee Journal" with center scene and text which combines with word on outer rim to read "Brownies/Dope In The Pink." Pictured seated on a "Soap" crate is a Brownie at his typewriter which is sitting on a "Beer/Milwaukee" crate. Next to the typewriter is a tiny accent word "Ding." The word "Dope" refers to news or possibly sporting event results but we aren't quite sure of the word "Pink" although in the early 1900s pink was associated with boys rather than girls. Center has small raised cello bump but the piece is totally clean. Only example we've seen. Curl carries name of maker Parisian.
