Item Description
This distinctive war cover is the product of Golden Age greats Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. They place the hero Sandman inside the dreams of an unspecified, yet somehow instantly identifiable enemy who is still plotting the conquest of America. DC was great with their war support. This cover contains a plea to “back the 6th War Loan”. The pages are off-white. The book is CGC-certified 9.4 (NM). According to the CGC Census, this unrestored copy is tied with two others as the highest graded copy they have seen.
