Item Description
Martin Nodell created one of his best covers for this issue. The art is simple and very direct. The silent background has a strange atmosphere to it; it's almost art deco. This issue marks the first time that Mutt and Jeff appear in the title. The pages are off-white to white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.4 (NM). According to the CGC Census, this issue is tied with one other as the second-highest graded copy they have seen. It is also recognized as being part of the Hawkeye Pedigree.
