Item Description
Bud Thompson’s The Atom Bomb cover is one of the most striking in comic history. He also contributes interior art. Otto Binder has written an interior story. Fawcett had no problem spinning concepts out of their success with Captain Marvel. One of the most viable and successful was Captain Marvel Jr. His title lasted until 1953 when it saw cancellation with issue #119. The pages are off-white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.0 (NM-). According to the CGC-census this is the highest-graded copy they have seen.
