Item Description
As the Golden Age wound down, Harvey moved from featuring original material to using licensed properties. Among their most successful titles was Milton Caniff’s Terry and the Pirates. The strip was one of the most popular in the world. The strip was so popular that it wasn’t canceled until 1973. Harvey had good luck with Terry. The title lasted until 1955. After that, it briefly moved over to Charlton for two more issues before being canceled. This issue has art from Bud Powell. The pages are cream to off-white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.2 (NM-). According to the CGC Census this copy is the third-highest graded copy they have seen. It is also recognized as a Harvey File Copy.
