Pair of 8.5x11" and 11x17" folders for theater use. Realart was a film distribution company that specialized in re-releases of earlier films. Each of these folders focuses on the horror genre, w/each having multiple films listed within. 1950s. First folder has promotional text at top reading "Mid-night Shows - Are Sweeping The Country" additional text reads "For 16 Of The Greatest Shockers And Thrillers Ever Offered To A Showman!!!" and features great bw photo montage showing Boris Karloff, Frankenstein, Wolf Man, Mummy, Invisible Man, Dracula, bat, mad scientists and black cat. Folder opens to reveal the 16 films mentioned on front - "The Ghost Of Frankenstein, House Of Frankenstein, Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man, Son Of Dracula, Dracula's Daughter, The Invisible Man, The Mummy's Ghost, The Mummy's Tomb" as well as Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi movies "Black Friday" and "The Invisible Ray." The montage on front features images from the posters shown here. Back has schedule blanks, two spots filled in. Folded as issued w/some lt. aging/wear. VF overall. Other folder has extensive list of films that were to be made available, including several horror films. As schedules/arrangements changed, theater employee crossed out films that were taken off the table (so to speak) in pencil. Among these "Horror Shows" are "Bride Of Frankenstein, Murders In The Rue Morgue, The Raven," and "Tower Of London." Other "Horror Shows" listed include "The Black Cat, Dracula's Daughter, Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man, The Ghost Of Frankenstein, House Of Frankenstein, House Of Dracula, The Invisible Man, The Mummy's Ghost, The Mummy's Tomb, Phantom Of The Opera" (1943), "Son Of Frankenstein, Son Of Dracula, Werewolf Of London" and "The Wolf Man." Pinch creases to spine and some scattered lt. aging. Fine/VF. Both are late 1940s-1950s. Rare and the first examples we've offered in our 48 years. A must have for Universal/Realart horror fans.
