Item Description
After experiencing success with reinventions of several Golden Age characters, DC decided to introduce a new character to the DC Universe. Metamorpho had made his debut in the previous issue of the Brave and the Bold. The strikingly individualistic nature of the character has kept him around for close to forty years. Today he is still so fondly remembered that he was featured in an exceptional two-part episode of the Cartoon Network’s version of the Justice League. Many single out the stunning art work of Ramona Fradon for one of the reasons for his longevity. Fradon handles the cover art as well as the interiors for this issue. The pages are off-white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.2 (NM-). According to the CGC Census this copy is tied with two others as the third-highest graded copy they have seen.
