Item Description
DeWitt/Sullivan 1880-26. Domed frame with heart shaped edge accents is a mate to previous Garfield. Frame with 1-1/8" stickpin is Mint. Ferrotype has narrow band of emulsion loss on lower outer edge from 3 o'clock to 10 o'clock which removed about 1/16" band of the image from his lower shoulders and lower chest. The loss blends well and the image is still over 90% intact with only a few microscopic tiny marks on the remaining 90%. Rarer than its Garfield mate. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
